I think Spike misses summer as much as I do. Here he's painting a picture of the beach while wearing his bathing suit and flip flops. He's been really funny lately about his clothes. For one thing, he hates jeans or any pants that are not sweats, warm-up pants, or pajama pants. He's always been very tactile and now how his clothes feel is very important to him. He also likes to go up to his room at various times throughout the day for a wardrobe change. I had to take all his summer clothes out from under his bed and put them in the basement so he'd stop coming down dressed in his beach wear. We've had to fight a few battles on clothing, but the new rule is that if he cooperates while getting dressed to be out and about, he can wear pajamas or sweats at home.
It's ridiculous how many pictures I took of these two rascals trying to get one of them together in their new jerseys! Obviously, none turned out! They never sit still long enough. I got these at the Swedish American museum and they LOVE them. Isaac calls it his "sweet jersey."
I love this picture of Anders! What a cool dude! This outfit was a Christmas gift from Grammy Pammy and Anders is very proud of his vest.
When I was complaining about Spike's obsession with ripping paper to Eva's Grammy Lou, she suggested that we put that tendency to good use and try paper mache. What fun! Isaac is also obsessed with "the whole map" still, so after we paper mached the balloon, we painted it to look like a globe. It now hangs from Spike's bedroom ceiling and he's very proud of it.

Wow, what a great looking globe Izey! I love it! Hugs and love, Grammy Lou
