The evening of our second night, we found an indoor mini golf place to take the boys to. It was a Monday, so we were the only ones there, which happened to be fabulous because this was the boys' first time playing and they aren't exactly Tiger Woods (thank God); we were glad we didn't have to worry about them being in anyone's way.

One of my favorite memories of our vacation was when we got ice cream after mini golf. Isaac was making typical preschooler "jokes" over and over again, so we were trying to teach him "real" jokes, mostly the kind that begin with "knock, knock." We all ended up giggling at Isaac's attempts to be funny and Anders's attempts to follow suit.

Fabulous pics, Kate! These bring back memories for me, as my sister took me to all these places when I was in 6th grade and I went to visit her at grad school in Nashville. We took a road trip one weekend. Very cool!!! Glad you had so much fun! I still have my "Chatanooga Choo Choo" hat, which Lukey now wears. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time. Love the pics. I especially love your comment about the commercialized trail, and I totally agree. Don't mess with God's beauty!
