Getting Things Rolling Again

Zach is showing me up. I gotta get back on track around here.

Let's start simple. A few pictures from an outing the other day...

I love Chicago.
To be able to wake up in the morning and decide, "Hey, there's free zoo in the middle of a beautiful city, next to a gorgeous lake, on a perfect late summer day--Let's go!" is the best!

Isaac still says a few words that just make me smile every time. One of 'em is crocodile, which from his 3.25 year old mouth, sounds like, "CRACKadile!" (everything he says sounds like it has an exclamation point at the end. Excuse the over-punctuation.)

We had never been to the farm part of the zoo. We got to feed a cow and pet goats. The boys were more excited about the Big Red Barn--"Just like in the book!"

This is rare shot of the four of us from a few weeks ago. We went to Shedd Aquarium with some family and friends. Unfortunately my camera is broken, so all of these pics were taken with our old one (thank goodness we still have it!). Those we took of the boys with the fish, etc, didn't really turn out. But it was a fun day, albeit undocumented.

And finally, a video of "What we learned today" from the zoo, with both Isaac and Anders contributing. Yes, I was filming while driving, but I promise I wasn't even looking.
