First Pictures

Wow, it's been an incredible couple days. Isaac is sleeping in his crib for the first time right now, giving us a chance to post a few pictures before heading to bed ourselves.

The first two pictures are from his birthday and were taken by his godparents, Peter and Liz VerHage.

The last one (with his daddy) was from this morning before we left the hospital.

We're a little biased, but we think he's about the most beautiful thing we've ever seen!

  1. Seriously, what an adorable baby! Psshh to anyone that says a)all newborns are ugly and squishy or b) they all look alike. Isaac is a hottie - big dark eyes and a precious face.
Yay! It's *awesome* to see you guys as Mommy and Daddy.

    We love you!

  2. Kate, Zach and Isaac! I can hardly beleive that your family now includes three! Kate, I'm so disappointed that I have missed your entire pregnancy. Zach, from the pictures it looks like your wife was the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world! Isaac, it's no surprise that you are equally beautiful. I can't wait to watch you from a far as you begin your journey. I'm even more anxious to meet you in person! Wish I could be there. Congratulations...to all of you. XOXO, Shay

  5. Awsome...I am so excited for you three. Isaac...you are one lucky dude. Your mom is one of the greatest friends to my wife and your dad is pretty cool, even though I don't know him as much as I wish I did. God has blessed you with great parents. Good luck in this big place we call the world. Its a tough place but I know you will make your mark. The love around you will continue to grow. Some day you will read these ancient computer text and will never understand how excited we are for you. Rest up little one, for God has great plans for you.
