As you know, the last thing I do before laying Anders down for bed each night is sing "Baby Mine." Recently, Anders has starting singing with me.
Me: Baby mine....
Thor: mine...
Me: Don't you cry....
Thor: cry...
Me: Baby mine...
Thor: mine...
Me: Dry your eye...
Thor: eye...
It doesn't happen every night, but each time it does, it just totally makes my day. My favorite part is that when I hum the last verse, he hums too. It's the sweetest!

ReplyDeleteKate, that's so cute you sing to your boys before putting them down. I've been singing to my kids since they were babies and they still have me sing to them every night. A couple of times I've tried to get passed it and just get them to bed quickly, but they won't let me. It's like I didn't really put them to bed without it.
Be prepared to sing for many years to come. I have a feeling we'll be singing to them even when they're in HS. LOL ;)
what are the rest of the words? I beter practice for the weekend or can I sing my own "You are my sunshine"? Sweet Sweet baby.
