Last night at 3:23am, Isaac came hurrying into our room describing a nightmare. He told his story to Zach and asked to cuddle with Momma.
"What happened, buddy? Did you have a bad dream?"
"Yeah, a bad man tried to grab me...and he didn't...and then recently he went away."
And I said to myself, "'Recently.' I have to remember that he said 'recently,'" before I went back to my Nighttime Theraflu induced sleep.
