- He's enormous. But you already knew that.
- He has rolled over exactly 5 times, but never on purpose.
- He tries to pick up specks of sunshine or shadows.
- He tries to pick the polka dots off of the fabric on the rocking chair.
- He snuggles and gives me "kisses" now. This consists of headbutting me or putting his slobbery, open mouth on my chin, cheek or neck. It's my favorite.
- I usually hear that he's awake not by his crying or babbling, but by his aquarium playing lullabies in his crib.
- If he sees something that he's interested in, he now dives for it, no matter how far away it is.
- His favorite song is "You Are My Sunshine," which always makes him smile.
- He makes this face when Daddy's dumping water over his head. (Momma would never do such a thing!)
- I charge you to find another baby with as many dimples and rolls.

ReplyDeleteI used to sing "you are my sunshine" to my sister. We both still love that song, and now we both sing it to my nephew. It's one of those mainstays of comfort in childhood...
My favorite song to sing to Sofia is the sunshine song too. I need to figure out if there are more than two verses...
