For the last three hours, I have been Izey-free. My BFF Meghan often refers to the different "hats" we wear as women. Today I'm taking a day off of motherhood to wear my student hat. I've gotten behind on homework again because I never have large enough chunks of time to work. So Miles's mom Emily has the boys today, and I gotta tell ya, I needed this. I keep wondering when he's going to wake up and then realizing that this isn't just an extra-long nap. This is me time. No one is tugging on my pant leg, no one is screaming at the kitchen gate, no one is pulling all the books off the shelf, no one requires fishing little rocks out of tightly locked jaws...
More later. Gotta take advantage while I can.
