OK, we went to a photo studio again and it was....pretty good. Isaac wasn't super excited about having his picture taken, but he did favor us with a couple of almost smiles. We haven't ordered any yet. I'm putting these up to get a few opinions. Daddy thinks we should get them redone or use the one that we took at home. I dunno. The one we took at home has a very cute facial expression, but you can see all the shadows and his hands are a little fuzzy. What do you think?

Don't forget another option would be to try again at home. He smiles better for us, and we could get a little tripod to minimize blurriness.
ReplyDeleteI really like the one with the black background. What a stud. :)

Your home shot is *quality*. I don't think you're conceding anything. Plus then you can just go to Shutterfly or something, get any size you want (wallets too!), have them sent any where you want, and all for *way* less moolah. (Olaiya's "three-month pics" ie. an at home shot that I decided to take to the drug store and get wallets of, are still one of my favorites.)
ReplyDeleteDepends on how you want to go. I think the first one is "cuter," but the second one is a lot more fun/goofy. Considering it's going up on various grandparents' walls/mantle, I'd choose the first one.
ReplyDeleteTrying one at home isn't wrong, either, but you've already paid for this one.
Sorry, meant the third one is goofy. I'm not a big fan of the second one.
ReplyDeleteLLOOOOVVVEEE #3!! Great camera work, guys. :)
ReplyDeleteHi kate... must admit I read your blog from time to time because you crack me up... the post about the blog titles kept me giggling for at least an hour...
ReplyDelete#3 is definitely the best. I vote for zach's suggestion of a tripod because clearly he favors momma and daddy.
Bottom line...he's so cute I want to punch myself in the face. Professionally photographed or no, I'm going to want one of the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI like the Han Solo vibe he's giving off in the at-home shot, I agree with my wife, I think that's a keeper.
ReplyDeleteKate, I have to say...the one you two did at home is the best one. Besides, we all know how scary those photographers at the studio are anyways...making crazy noises and squealing just to get a smile out of your kid. You might as well save them the work...you get better smiles without doing all that crazy stuff.
ReplyDeleteafter spending a few days in Isaac's own house and seeing him more I vote for the one you took. It looks more like him and shows his personality. Grammy Pammy
