On Saturday, Isaac went to a birthday party. It was actually a hoedown for two "urban cowkids" Annikah and Joshua, who both turned one. Since he doesn't have any cowboy gear yet, Isaac went as the conductor who drives the train out west.
Isaac was the youngest baby there, but certainly not the smallest. He met a little girl named Eva who is 9 months old. Yes, he was definitely bigger than her. When Eva's mom found out Isaac is only three months old, she started cracking up. As I walked away she called to her husband, "Did you see that baby? He's only three months old!" I never think Isaac is all that huge until I see him around other babies. OPK's (other people's kids) look tiny but strong and very coordinated to me. haha.
Here's Anni and Joshua digging in to their cake. Anni, like Isaac, has hung out in the 99th percentile for weight. She was wearing bright pink cowgirl boots that wouldn't zip up due to her chunky thighs. Big babies rock.

What I thought was funny was how the skinny baby (my JP) dug into his cake two-fisted and the big baby did not seem to like. I guess that is proof that at this age, they will be the size they are meant to be :)
