Boo-bays

Isaac's repertoire of "words" is growing! Here's a list, in the approximate order that they appeared:

Baybay: baby
Ba: ball
Bobo: grapes (or anything else that's shaped like a little ball)
Oo!Oo!: woof! woof!
Mama: mama or mimi (pacifier)
Dada: daddy
Boo-bays: blueberries
Momo: more or mower (as in lawn-mower, his favorite toy)
Buhbuh: bubbles
ffffffff: the sound a car makes
Amay: Amen
Popo: apple

Some of these words he'll only say if we ask him to repeat, like "blueberries" as seen in the video below. Others he uses as insistent demands, like "momo" and "bobo." Some totally surprised me, like "amay" and the sound a car makes. It's fun to see him pick things up from all around him.

Stick with the video for 47 seconds and you can finally hear Isaac say "boo-bay?" (it always sounds like a question) and then he says it again after I say, "One more time?" at the end. You also hear him say "momo" a couple of times.

  2. I forgot to tell you that the night that I watched him he said Quantum of Solace. Which I thought was weird, because that is the name of the new James Bond movie. I thought to myself, "How does Isaac know about James Bond?" Anyways it might have just been a crazy coincidence, but it really got me thinking...
