Isaac is getting so big! He's starting to think more and more of our antics are funny--now he smiles at peek-a-boo and chuckles when you tickle his tummy. Today I discovered that he thinks it's hilarious when I eat his fingers. After seeing him suck on them so much, I just had to taste 'em to see what all the drool was about.
Yesterday he started grabbing his own toes and now you can't change his diaper without him assuming the position. 
He can also "tripod" which is sitting with his hands holding him up, as seen in the video below, and sometimes even lifts his hands to sit on his own! I must admit I got a little choked up the first time he did this. My baby sitting up? I already feel the bittersweet pangs of that "growing up so fast" that everyone talks about.

ReplyDeleteSo this might sound funny, but I love that your go-get-'em mommy voice doesn't sound so different from my own. Makes me feel more normal when I hear mine played back on video and think, "Really? Do people think I'm just a total sap?" And so excited to see him live! GOT to love those cheeks, man - I couldn't fully appreciate them until on film!
