Isaac is eating us out of house and home. Not because his food is expensive--that part's free--but because he's eating SO MUCH of it that he's growing to the next size clothing in a matter of a week or two. Our 4 month old is now in 12 month clothing, and only just barely fits that. Soon it'll be 18 month stuff.
Last Thursday night I packed up ALL of the clothes that fit him for our trip to California. On Friday I had to take him out on an errand in a onesie that was too tight and shorts his voluptuous thighs were rolling out of. I was walking around wanting to tell people, "He usually looks much cuter than this." I bought him some more clothes, but this is crazy!

Hi Kate:
ReplyDeleteI guess I will never be passing down clothes to you, more like the other way around ;). Joshua still fits into 9 month stuff (just now getting too small for him)
I love chunky babies. A solid baby - one that thunks right down on your hip and isn't sliding anywhere. What a stud. And way to go with the traveling...so great to see family...not that I'm ever thinking of that these days :)
ReplyDeleteI can completely sympathize...Addison is in 18 months at 7 months. Other moms always look so surprised when I tell them she's only seven months. I take solace in knowing that my baby could eat their baby. :)
ReplyDeletedon't worry it slows down- my big girl was also in 12 months clothes at 6months (i THought she woudl be wearing 3T by 12 months at the rate she was going) but as soon as she started moving she "slimed down" a bit :) Of course she is also a chunker and we love it!
